Rankin Projects delivered both the existing base-building works and the complete tenant fit-out for the Inveresk IGA supermarket. The project was managed from the development application and design stages through to construction, final completion, occupancy approvals and food-licensing requirements.
The works involved coordination between two separate client groups—the base-building owners and the incoming IGA tenant—along with Council, consultants and the Environmental Health Officer. Existing building conditions and ongoing ground movement created structural challenges, requiring close collaboration with engineers to develop practical and cost-effective solutions. Rankin Projects also worked with the clients to identify and implement a number of cost-saving alternatives throughout delivery.
